Let us pray together:
Help me, Lord, help me. I need help… desperately. Lord, I’m drowning in a sea of troubles. I need help, supernatural help. Man can’t help me. Nothing can help me… I’ve tried everything. Only God can help me. So help me Lord.
It’s written in the Word of God: “This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.” [Psalm 34:6]
Lord, I need you to help me as you helped the poor man in the Bible. Hebrews 13:6 says that the righteous can boldly say, “The Lord is my helper.”
And the Word of God says in Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
Lord, I know I haven’t always been righteous. I don’t deserve your mercy. But the Bible says that God is rich in mercy, and loves us all with a great love [Ephesians 2:4]
So according to your abundance of mercy, forgive me for all my unrighteousness, forgive me of all my sins, have mercy on me, and receive my prayer, receive my cry for help.
